Hispanic Market Advisors® is looking to fill 1 paid part-time (20 hours per week) Fall internship for a college student who aspires to start a career in sales and business development or acquire practical knowledge in the digital marketing world, as it relates to the US Hispanic market. This part-time internship will be project based with clear objectives and milestones, and will include areas such as prospecting, appointment setting, and business development. Some additional areas/tasks may be born ad hoc during the 3-month period as management / trainer discovers special skills possessed by the intern that may be a great fit or match to spearhead or assist on a specific project or Hispanic Marketing program.

You will be targeting US Hispanic professionals and other business owners and setting appointments for our sales team. Prospects are located across the United States so it’s necessary that candidate has availability to make calls and send emails during Pacific Standard Time (PST) and Eastern Standard (EST) working hours.
We will provide you access to our Content Relationship Management (CRM) System for you to initiate contact and follow up accordingly. This is strategic appointment setting at its finest and we will pay you bonuses for setting appointments successfully. The ideal candidate has some sales experience and has no problem picking up the phone and following up on a prospect until making it happen (Get paid bonuses for every appointment you set!)

This position has the inherent potential to grow into a full-time role with our company – but – if the internship does not evolve into a full-time position after the summer, the intern will walk away with the practical knowledge in prospecting and client acquisition strategies that he/she may apply to his/her next position.
Successful candidates must have the following characteristics/qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to develop qualified appointments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management skills
- Excellent experience in on-line research (Google, LinkedIn, data.com, etc.) and experience with web research tools
- Reliable, disciplined work habits, strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a “closed loop” fashion with marketing and sales team members
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, as job relates to the Hispanic market
- Experience with Content Relationship Management (CRM) system is preferred.
We offer a highly competitive internship, with appointment/ lead bonuses. For the most part of the assignment, you will be working out of our office in Midtown Miami, but you will be allowed to work-from-home (or remotely) up to 25% of the time.
